This MA Restaurant Is Giving Away 100 Free Burgers For National Hamburger Day: Cheap Eats

MASSACHUSETTS — National Hamburger Day is May 28, and Massachusetts restaurants are lining up to pay homage to the comfort food staple.

At Big Grin, diners can even get a free burger if they time their lunch properly.

Big Grin, by Chef John Fraser, the popular fast casual burger joint at The Lineup in the Winthrop Center in Downtown Boston is celebrating National Hamburger Day with a giveaway from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first 100 guests will receive a free burger hand-crafted by the Big Grin culinary team, specifically for National Hamburger Day.

Every customer in line who does not receive a burger will receive a voucher for free crinkle-cut fries redeemable at a later date.

Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse will offer a Surf and Turf Burger and Blood Orange IPA Special.

Get it on the secret menu action at Davio’s Northern Italian Steakhouse and celebrate National Hamburger Day on May 28. The Surf and Turf Burger is a Kobe Beef Burger topped with Lump Crab Meat and Truffle Bearnaise, served with a side of Hand Cut Parmigiano French Fries.

Davio’s Blood Orange IPA is brewed by Harpoon with blood orange puree and citrusy hops – resulting in an "approachable blend of blood orange, bright citrus notes, and juicy hop flavors," officials said.

It’s available on draft only at Davio’s locations.

Available at all Massachusetts locations from May through August, the Surf and Turf Burger and Blood Orange IPA special is available for $50.

Matria Boston & Bar Fellini at InterContinental Boston is offering half off its signature Matria Burger.

The burger will be available for just $12 on May 28 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Matria Boston and 4 to 6 p.m. at Bar Fellini. The burger features grass-fed beef, balsamic aioli, herb-whipped ricotta, sautéed mushrooms, lettuce and red onion.

Sugar Factory Boston's Hot Cheeto Burger will help those looking to turn up the heat for National Hamburger Day.

It's an 8oz. angus beef patty loaded with Flamin’ Hot Cheetos, pepper jack cheese crust, melted pepper jack, pickles, shredded lettuce, tomato, crispy onions and chipotle mayo sandwiched between a Flamin’ Hot Cheetos-crusted toasted brioche bun.
