7 Miles Of Mass Pike Will Be Closed Over Weekend For Work: MassDOT
The westbound side of I-90 will be shut down during nighttime hours, pushing drivers onto state and local roads.

WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA — A 7-mile stretch of the Mass Pike will be closed on Saturday for bridge repair, although the work will take place late at night.
MassDOT will shut down I-90 in West Springfield near the I-91 and Route 5 interchange at 11 p.m. Saturday, with drivers detoured along state and local roads in Holyoke and Westfield. Drivers will be able to get back on the Mass Pike at the Route 202 interchange in Westfield.
According to MassDOT, construction crews will be making bridge repairs along the closed section of highway. The highway will reopen to all westbound drivers by 6 a.m. Sunday, the transportation agency said.

The work will be rescheduled if weather or another emergency prevents it from happening, MassDOT said.
