7 Teens Arrested After 2 Police Pursuits In Several MA Towns, Report

Four females and three males from Boston and Worcester were involved.

NORWOOD, MA — A group of teenagers is facing charges after police pursued two stolen vehicles through multiple Massachusetts towns, according to a report from WHDH 7NEWS.

Seven juveniles, ages 13 to 15, were involved, four females and three males, six from Boston and one from Worcester, according to the news outlet.

WHDH reported that the incidents began around 2 a.m. on Route 1 when an officer tried to pull over two vehicles making an illegal U-turn at a gas station, but both drove away.

Both vehicles were pursued into Westwood and then Dedham, according to WHDH. One of the vehicles, an Infiniti SUV, crashed on Washington Street in Dedham.

The occupants fled the area, but officers were able to find two females and take them to the hospital, while a third passenger was detained on scene. The driver fled the area and was not located, WHDH reported.

The other vehicle, a red Lincoln, crashed into a guardrail after being stopped by spike strips in Foxboro, according to WHDH. The occupants of that vehicle were detained and taken to the hospital for evaluation.
