The Big E + Major Punk Act In Boston And 15 MA Events This Weekend
Plus: A pop superstar and sitcom star announced shows in Massachusetts over the next year. Here's what to know.
MASSACHUSETTS — It isn't so much a question of what there is to do in the Boston area and beyond, but rather, what should locals do?

This week, we learned that two big acts are coming to Massachusetts within the next year.

Jerry Seinfeld is headed to Worcester for two live stand-up shows. He will perform at the Hanover Theatre on Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.
This won't be the first time Seinfeld has performed in Worcester. He has made a number of appearances throughout the years, even making a joke about the city's name in a social media post back in 2017.

"I cannot understand the spelling and pronunciation of Worcester, Mass. So I'm coming in for 2 shows Saturday night to figure it out," the comedian wrote on X.

Additionally, Ed Sheeran announced expanded dates on his upcoming North American tour, which includes two in 2026 at Gillette Stadium.
Ticket presales begin next week for the Sheeran show, which has local dates scheduled for Sept. 25 and 26, 2026.
As for what's happening locally this weekend, The Big E is still running as is the King Richard's Faire. It's starting to feel a lot like fall.
