Catch A Game This Holiday Season In Massachusetts

Between the Celtics, Bruins and Patriots, there is no shortage of live sports action to get your fix this holiday season.

MASSACHUSETTS — It's a beautiful time on the sports calendar for Massachusetts fans, as the Patriots are back in playoff contention while the Bruins and Celtics are in the middle of their respective seasons.

Good news for local fans: They can also catch their favorite teams live this holiday season. Well, minus the Patriots.

The Pats, hoping to lock in their playoff seed and win the division, are at Baltimore on Dec. 21 and at the New York Jets on Dec. 28, both Sunday games.

The Bruins and Celtics, however, each play at least a couple of games at TD Garden beginning this weekend. Also at TD Garden on Dec. 26 are the Harlem Globetrotters.

  • Celtics vs. Heat, 7 p.m., Dec. 19
  • Bruins vs. Canucks, 7 p.m., Dec. 20
  • Bruins vs. Senators, 7 p.m., Dec. 21
  • Celtics vs. Pacers, 7:30 p.m., Dec. 22
  • Bruins vs. Canadiens, 7 p.m., Dec. 23

In the college ranks, the Boston College men's basketball team plays Fairleigh Dickinson on Dec. 22 and Le Moyne on Dec. 28. The Harvard and Holy Cross programs face each other on Saturday in Boston for a battle of highly academic institutions.
