$25K Reward Offered In Case Of MA Boy Who Disappeared 47 Years Ago
Four-year-old Andrew Amato was last seen on Sept. 30, 1978 near his home in the town of Webster. He reportedly vanished while playing in the woods near his home. The FBI has been investigating the incident ever since and is now offering a $25,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest.

Spirit Christmas Opening 2 MA Stores For 2025 Season
Spirit Halloween stores in Dartmouth and North Attleboro are slated to become Spirit Christmases sometime in November. The stores will feature an "all-new" Peppermint Village, an "immersive in-store experience" with festive decor, “visits from Santa Claus,” unique gifts, holiday apparel, and interactive displays.

Crowd Of 100 Attack Police Cruisers, Take Over Boston Intersection: Authorities
Two teenagers from Rhode Island are now facing charges after the incident on the corner of Massachusetts Avenue and Tremont Street. The crowd started throwing fireworks, cones, poles and other items at police cars, according to authorities. The police car reportedly caught fire when it was hit with fireworks.

MA Housing Agency Awards $150K In Grants For Community Gardens, Farmer's Markets
MassHousing has awarded $150,000 to support community gardens, farmer's markets and other initiatives to provide healthy food access to residents of 16 agency-financed rental housing communities across Massachusetts. The program has more than 40 partnerships, including farms, agriculture groups and meal programs.

Skywatching Dates To Know For Meteor Showers, Supermoons In MA
One “supermoon” each is slated to take place in October, November, and December respectively this year. Supermoons occur when the moon is at perigee, the point in its orbit when it is closest to Earth, making it appear up to 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than usual. October is also the peak month for meteor showers to occur.
