Epoch Senior Living Hosts Dementia Expert Dr. Brent Forester

The December 9 workshop is part of a series of educational programming to support families

Waltham, MA – December, 2025 – One of the most difficult aspects of dementia is understanding its symptoms and learning how to cope with them.

To support caregivers and loved ones on this journey, EPOCH Senior Living will present “Understanding the Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia,’’ featuring one of the leading experts in geriatric psychiatry.

Brent Forester, MD, MSc, Chair of Psychiatry at Tufts University School of Medicine & Tufts Medical Center, will lead a discussion on the behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia. These include agitation, depression, anxiety, apathy, and sleep disturbances, which significantly impact quality of life for both individuals and their caregivers.

The virtual program will be held on Tuesday, December 9 at 7 p.m.
