Get Lunch For $1 On MA Restaurant's Opening Day: Cheap Eats
A growing restaurant chain is set to open its third Massachusetts location since late 2024 with a special nod to a beloved poet and author.
MASSACHUSETTS — It's becoming more difficult by the day to find an affordable meal out in Massachusetts — and America, frankly.
However, on the opening day of Naya's latest Massachusetts location, those who make the trip to Boylston Street in Boston can get a meal for just $1.
NAYA continues its New England expansion with the grand opening of its third Boston-area location at 500 Boylston St. on June 4. This follows other openings at 95 Summer St. in December 2024 and Arsenal Yards in Watertown in January 2025.

To mark the occasion, NAYA will offer $1 bowls and rolls for the day, allowing guests to build their orders with their choice of proteins, grains and a variety of NAYA's 17 toppings, including falafel, chicken and beef shawarma, as well as appetizers, dips and sweets.
On opening day, 100 percent of proceeds from the promotion will benefit the Gibran National Committee (GNC), an organization that honors the iconic Lebanese-American poet and author of The Prophet.

Officials said the partnership holds special meaning in Boston, as the new location is just steps from Copley Square — home to the Kahlil Gibran Memorial.
"Gibran’s legacy of bringing Eastern philosophy to the West mirrors NAYA’s mission of sharing Middle Eastern culture through cuisine," officials said.
Guests can also shop limited-edition Kahlil Gibran mugs and bookmarks featuring some of his most well-known quotes. An additional 20 percent of merchandise proceeds will support the GNC.
In celebration of their partnership with poet and author Kahlil Gibran, families are encouraged to join for a complimentary custom typewriter poetry experience with Ars Poetica's Iman Khondker. Tell her anything and she'll write you a poem to keep as a gift. Poems will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 3 to 7 p.m.
NAYA's latest Boston opening marks its 32nd location across New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Massachusetts.
