Please describe why this individual is a hero at your school.
Zack is our Head custodian and has been working here at our School for 8 years...first as a second shift regular custodian, promoted to Foreman, then promoted to Head custodian. As the youngest Head Custodian in Barnstable's history, Zack works hard to keep our school running smoothly. The Principal, Administration, Teachers and children all admire and depend on him. He goes above and beyond at our busy and understaffed school just about every day. He never complains and always has time for a smile or kind word. He not only helps set up our special events but participates in all school activities as well as supporting teachers and staff in their after school pursuits...on his own time. The kids cant wait to see what "Mr. Pober" will be wearing to school on Pajama Day, Funny Hat Day, Ugly Sweater Day, etc. His wonderfully kind nature and sense of humor have brought a feeling of family to our school that we have never had before as he constantly seeks to lighten our load (both physically and mentally), and brighten our days. We are so lucky to have Zack on our Team here at BUES.
