How To Get A Free Chicken Tender On National Chicken Tender Day In MA: Cheap Eats

MASSACHUSETTS — You know you've made it in the world when a national food holiday that you started becomes a trend people follow.

This isn't breaking news, but Raising Cane's owner Todd Graves has made it.

National Chicken Finger Day was started in 2010 by Graves. It was officially trademarked in 2019 and, over the years, Cane's officials said the company has given away over 150,000 tenders.

That number will grow this year when, for one day only, every Raising Cane's Box Combo purchased in-restaurant, through the drive-thru, via the mobile app or online will come with an additional free chicken finger.

This day comes on Sunday, as the company celebrates National Chicken Finger Day.

No code or coupon is required, and there isn't a limit to how many combos patrons can order, officials said.

In Massachusetts, the company has 10 locations. They include:

• Three locations in Boston
• Fall River
• Framingham
• Marlborough
• Medford
• Methuen
• Saugus
• Seekonk

The deal marks the first time Raising Cane’s has ever added an extra chicken finger to its box combo for everyone, not just Caniac Club loyalty members.

Free Agua Fresca

Another food holiday comes on Aug. 3, when Anna's Taqueria celebrates National Watermelon Day.

Anna’s is giving its Anna’s App insiders a free seasonal treat with a watermelon agua fresca.

The drink comes complimentary with the purchase of a burrito, quesadilla, bowl or salad entrée for one day only.

The watermelon agua fresca is made in-house daily with fresh-pressed watermelon.

Anna's is honoring the deal at all 10 locations.
