Hunters Find 2 Dead In Fall River Forest: Cops
The hunters found the human remains on the first day of pheasant season, police said.

FALL RIVER, MA — Hunters found two dead in Freetown-Fall River State Forest Saturday, police said.
The hunters happened upon a motor vehicle "deep in the woods off Copicut Road" early Saturday morning on the first day of pheasant season, according to the Fall River police.
"In the immediate area of the vehicle, they discovered the remains of two deceased individuals," police said.

The skeletal remains of two adults were found near a Honda Accord, according to the Bristol County District Attorney's Office.
A suicide note was also located, the district attorney's office said.

"The remains were transported to the Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending autopsies," according to the district attorney's office.
The matter remains under investigation, according to police, but "Based on preliminary findings, all current evidence indicates that there are no outside actors involved."
