Large Police Search Underway For Missing MA Man

AUBURN, MA — A large search is underway for a man missing in Worcester County.
Darren Cyr of Auburn was reported missing last week. The 58-year-old was last seen by family on Sept. 12, according to police.
The Auburn Police Department is asking the public to avoid areas where there is police activity as the search gets underway. The agency said K-9s and the Massachusetts State Police helicopter may be used.

Police also asked the public to avoid Mill Street and the surrounding areas on Tuesday.
Spectrum News 1 reported that the Massachusetts Environmental Police and state police are on Pondview Court, as first responders enter Pondville Pond with an inflatable boat.
