MA Ranks Among Best States For Jobs, New Study Says

The analysis compared the 50 states across 34 key indicators of job-market strength and economic health.

If you're looking for a job in Massachusetts, you're in the right place, at least according to one new study. Personal finance website WalletHub named Massachusetts the No. 1 best state for jobs in the country.

The Bay State ranks high due in part to having one of the highest worker protection scores, which includes protections for pregnant or breastfeeding women, mandates for equal pay, pay secrecy, or no salary history, as well as protections around flexible scheduling.

Also, the number of available jobs in Massachusetts increases by around 2.4% per year. This ranks as the fourth-highest in the nation, so there will be even more opportunities in the future, according to WalletHub.
