Cape Cod: People from other states come to Cape Cod for vacation. Why would you leave Massachusetts and go far afield for rest and relaxation somewhere else? So make the most of the beach, go whale watching and eat a lobster roll without setting foot outside the Bay State.

Boston: Boston is one of the greatest cities in the world. If you live in it or even nearby, it is a perfect place for a staycation. Walk the Freedom Trail, visit the Back Bay, get a meal in Somerville and, of course, catch a Red Sox game.

Worcester: Speaking of the Red Sox, a Worcester Red Sox game is just one thing to do during a Worcester staycation. While you're there, drop by the Worcester Art Museum, the Ecotarium and the Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts.
