Though Boston can claim the biggest Pride celebration in the state — slated for next weekend — no community is more important to LGBTQ+ culture in the Commonwealth than Provincetown.

P-Town's celebration starts this weekend and features some of the community's major Pride Month events, though the celebration continues on through June.

Also this weekend, music will ring out in the lawns and streets of the Ryal Side section of Beverly this weekend as part of the city's first PorchFest.

The event is set for Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. and will be held rain or shine.

More than 25 bands are expected to perform in what organizers hope will be a test run for an even bigger event as part of the Beverly 400+ celebration next year.

And, as a look ahead for next week, The Weeknd is set to play Gillette Stadium over two nights on Tueday and Wednesday.
