Summertime Sizzle Returns To MA: How Hot, Humid Will It Get?

As high dew points persists, it will be Triple H weather once again this week with temperatures in the 90s.

MASSACHUSETTS — As the calendar turns to August on Thursday there will be a return to summertime hazy, hot and humid conditions into the weekend with temperatures in the 90s and persistent soupy dew points.

After a warm and humid day on Wednesday with highs in the lower 80s and a chance of downpours, it will trend sunnier and hotter through the end of the work week, according to the National Weather Service.

The NWS is predicting a high temperature of 92 degrees with mostly sunny skies on Thursday and highs near 90 with only a slight chance of a shower on Friday.

The weekend will continue very warm with a greater chance of rain. On Saturday, forecasts call for a high of 87 and a 30 percent chance of showers, with that increasing to 50 percent with a high of 87 degrees on Sunday.

One more summer dog day is expected on Monday with a high of 88 degrees and a lesser chance of showers before the heat and humidity are expected to break next week with highs closer to 80 degrees and much lower dew points.
