Thanksgiving Football Frenzy Sets Stage For Super Bowls
Here are the statewide Super Bowl matchups and scores from this week's Thanksgiving football rivalries.
MASSACHUSETTS — The Thanksgiving football tradition returned for programs across Massachusetts this week as friends, families and generations of former players flocked back to local fields to watch rivalries renewed after the coronavirus cancellations of 2020.
While most teams walked off their respective fields for the final time following those games, for 16 squads there is one more gridiron battle to be waged as part of eight statewide Super Bowls at Gillette Stadium over the next 10 days.
The games are split up between Wednesday, Thursday and Monday:
