Acton Announces Coronavirus Small Business Grant Program
The grant program will provide funds to assist small businesses in Acton cover wages, rent, loss of inventory, and other fixed costs.
ACTON, MA — Acton has established the COVID-19 Small Business Grant to assist existing small businesses that have had significant business disruption due to the COVID-19 closures. This grant program will provide funds to assist small businesses in Acton cover wages, rent, loss of inventory, and other fixed costs not already paid for by other federal COVID-19 financial assistance or relief programs.
More details about eligibility and the process will be released on Monday, June 1.
Businesses will be eligible for up to $4,000 in aid if they demonstrate the financial impact to their business is greater than or equal to the amount requested. Funding for the program is available through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.

Applications will be available starting Monday, June 1 and the initial deadline for complete application is Monday, June 15. Applications received after that day may be considered if funding is available.
A lottery will be held on Thursday, June 18 to chose the initial round of awardees. These businesses will be notified on Saturday, June 20.
