ACTON, MA — President Trump's loss in Massachusetts on Tuesday was expected in the perennially deep blue state, but how did he fare among Acton residents this time around?
Support for Trump decreased in 2020 compared to 2016. Results from the 2016 election show Trump received 2,555 votes, compared to 2,399 this year. Hillary Clinton received 9,198 votes in Acton in 2016, while Joe Biden earned 10,793.
Voter turnout was slightly worse this year, as 81 percent of registered voters cast ballots, versus 83 percent in 2016.
