Join ArtSpace and Sanctuary for art experiences each month. We’ll explore collaboration, community art-making, sensory experiences and lots of fun. All ages are welcome, but activities are designed for ages 2-7 and their grownups. Wear clothes that can get messy and plan on a good time!
February 14: Clay and Flowers
This weekend, we’ll take inspiration from natural materials and work in 3D. Children will have the opportunity to make shapes with air dry clay, before stamping them to capture the textures and patterns of natural materials like flowers, leaves and pine cones. Added embellishments will allow for more creativity and personalization. Those who finish quickly can make colorful leaf rubbings.
