Carlisle Police Warn Of Suspicious Man Approaching Young Girls
After two young girls told officers they were approached by a man in a red car, police are warning residents to be on the lookout.
CARLISLE, MA — Police are issuing an alert after receiving multiple reports from young girls saying they have been approached by a "suspicious man" who approached them in Carlisle recently.
On Thursday, officers responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Church Street just before 3 p.m. The Carlisle Police Department says officers spoke with the girl, who told them she was approached by an older man who asked her to enter the address of a coffee shop into his GPS. Once she said no to him, she says the man drove off.
Almost two hours later, police responded to a similar incident at Fern's Country Store on Lowell Street, where another young girl says she was approached by a man who needed help with something inside his car. Police say when she declined, he drove off again.
