Child Rescued From Icy Pond in Acton
Two neighbors saw the boy and pulled him out of the freezing water

A nine year old Acton boy was rescued out of an icy pond on Wednesday by two residents who happened to be nearby, CBS Boston is reporting.
Police say the boy told rescuers he was walking on the embankment of the pond and slipped and fell into the water.
Investigators say two neighbors rushed to the scene and formed a chain on the shoreline to bring the boy in who was soaking wet, crying and shaking.
