Drunk Acton Man Placed in Protective Custody

The following information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on July 3:

  • Officers placed a local man in protective custody after finding incapacitated by alcohol.
  • Emerson Hospital reported a resident received a dog bite.
  • Officers were dispatched to Autumn Lane for a report of a loud party. The resident at the address said he would quiet things down.
  • A male allegedly stole a $130 toothbrush from Rite Aid. Responding officer reported the male was wearing a white shirt while carrying a black backpack. He fled the scene on a bike.
  • Emergency personnel responded to a Powdermill Road residence for a report of an intoxicated man who was unable to get up from the floor of the bathroom.
  • A caller reported that in the woods at the back left of Mount Hope Cemetery there were five or six of the plastic signs shaped like children that people pull out to slow cars. Responding officer took them back to the station.
