Dumpster Diving, Loud Music and More From the Acton Police Log

The following was supplied by the Acton Police Department. Where arrests are mentioned it does not indicate a conviction.

The following was reported by the Acton Police Department on May 12-13:

  • Officers were dispatched to Harris Street for a report of a disturbance. Officers found a loud party going on with the volume of a stereo turned up. Party turned the volume down.
  • Officers responded to Taylor Road for a report of someone trying to jump in front of cars. Person was located and said he may have inadvertently gone into the roadway.
  • A parent on Strawberry Hill Road reported his son had taken a vehicle without permission. The son eventually returned home with the vehicle.
  • Officers were dispatched to Great Road for a report of someone going through Dumpsters.
  • An officer responded to Main Street after a caller complained about a gathering playing loud music. The people were cleaning up as the officer arrived and were told to turn the music down the next time.
  • Emerson Hospital faxed the Acton PD a report of a dog bit from Prospect Street.
