FBI Violent Crime Statistics for Mass. Towns

FBI has posted their breakdown of crime in the United States including all Massachusetts towns.

In 2014 Acton’s population of 23,193 saw 17 violent crimes.

Violent crimes include murder and non-negligent manslaughter as well as rape, robbery and aggravated assault according to the FBI.

There were no instances of robbery, murders, or non-negligent manslaughter in Acton in 2014.

There were however 2 instances of rape and 15 instance of aggravated assault.

In non violent crimes there were 179 property crimes, 27 instances of burglary, 147 instances of larceny theft, 5 motor vehicle thefts and 0 instances of arson.
