A call to the Acton Police Department on July 6 regarding someone destroying property resulted in the arrest of a local man. Officers were dispatched to 15 Davis Road at about 8:30 p.m. One officer spoke with a manager at the scene and advised him on the actions taken to get into the pool area (cutting a lock). After an investigation was completed, Henry M. Friend, 32, of 17 Davis Road, was arrested and charged with: <ul><li>Trespassing;</li><li>Malicious destruction of property over $250;</li><li>Carrying a dangerous weapon;</li><li>Disorderly conduct.</li></ul>He was scheduled to be arraigned on July 9. The arresting officer was Douglas Mahoney.
