The Town of Acton is among the towns in Central Massachusetts that will get spraying of insecticide this month for mosquitoes.
Spraying is tentatively scheduled for selected streets in Acton on July 10-11, according to a post on the Central Massachusetts Mosquito Control Project website.
The streets are added by citizen request. The mosquito project does not perform town-wide spraying, according to its site. Residents can ask for exclusion from the spraying, too, by contacting the project.
Residents can also call to find out where the spraying will occur: The spray areas scheduled for that night will be listed on the mosquito project phone system after 3:30 p.m. Call 508-393-3055.
