New Hampshire Man Arrested on Warrant in Acton

The following arrest information was supplied by the Acton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

The Acton Police Department assisted Haverhill police in making a warrant arrest on June 21.

Acton officers were dispatched to a School Street address at about 2:11 p.m. to serve the warrant.

When they arrived, Paul J. Franics, 24, of 15 Pine St., in Seabrook, N.H., was arrested.

The warrant from Haverhill police was for a charge of assault and battery.

The arresting officer was Christopher Browne.

In other police news from June 21:

  • An officer responded to a Powdermill Road business for a report of a past shoplifting incident. An employee was unable to view or burn the video from the incident. 
  • An officer was dispatched to a West Road address for a report of a stolen car.
  • Officers responded to Great Road business for a report of a larceny. A caller gave a description of a white male in his early 20s, approximately 6 feet tall with a slim build, wearing a white T-shirt, sunglasses and black bandana. The caller said the person left the store and was headed East down Route 2A carrying a black Adidas backpack with white trim around the zipper. Concord police were notified.
