QUINCY, MA — After nearly 10 years, North Quincy High School on Saturday reclaimed their State Champion title in Boston public media producer GBH's High School Quiz Show.

Hosted by Billy Costa, the televised academic tournament pits four-person teams of Massachusetts high schoolers against each other in fast-paced quizzes on various subjects, like literature, current events and math.

Throughout the season, public figures including actress Kristen Bell and MA Senators Elizabeth Warren and Edward Markey popped in to pose special celebrity questions to the teams.

To qualify for each season, teams participate in a Super Sunday qualifying event every fall. Out of the 70 schools that competed last year, only 17 were picked for the show's 13th season.

This wasn't North Quincy's first rodeo. This year marked the school's sixth appearance on the show and their second win — they snagged their first State Champion title in season four.
