NorthEast Comic Con: Celebrities, Collectibles Coming To Boxboro

The annual pop culture fair, from Nov. 26 to 28 at the Boxboro Regency Hotel, will feature vendors, presentations, career advice and more.

BOXBORO, MA — Pop culture fans can find rare memorabilia, celebrity guests and more at the NorthEast Comic Con & Collectibles Extravaganza, which will take place Thanksgiving weekend (Nov. 26-28) at the Boxboro Regency Hotel.

Over 100 exhibitors will sell rare, vintage and speciality collectibles, including memorabilia from Star Wars, Marvel, DC Comics and other movie franchises; autographs; video games; Funko Pops and more, officials said in a news release.

Comic Con will be attended by a slew of celebrity guests: Actor/performer Michael Winslow; voice actor Billy West of Futurama and Ren & Stimpy; Francois Clemmons, who played Officer Clemmons on Mister Rogers' Neighborhood; Kaylee Hottle, who appears in 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong, and more.

The show also acts as a source of inspiration for attendees interested in a career in the creative arts: Artists, authors, creators and actors will talk with young fans about potential career paths at the event.

Comic Con host Gary Sohmers, the longtime pop culture appraiser on PBS' Antiques Roadshow, said the show has something for collectors and fans of all ages and generations.

"This event is a pop culture experience, offering fans a chance to meet icons of television, film, comics and pop culture — and learn at Careers in the Creative Arts panels and presentations," Sohmers said.

Other events include karaoke with celebrity talent on the main stage, live concerts, dinner-and-a-show with magic, comedy shows and more, Somers said.
