Woman Pulled From Burning Home In Acton
The woman was hospitalized following a house fire on Washington Street Monday evening.
ACTON, MA —A woman was pulled from a burning home during an aggressive fire Monday evening, according to the Acton Fire Department.
Officials arrived at 7:34 p.m. to the 20 block of Washington Street, where a woman was found in an upstairs corner bedroom and taken by helicopter to a Boston hospital, the fire department said.
The woman's injuries included serious smoke inhalation, according to Acton Fire. Her condition is not yet known.

Acton Fire added that the house suffered extensive smoke, fire and water damage to one corner and smoke damage throughout the home.
"Chief Hart wishes to thank the hard working men and women of the Acton Fire Department and Acton Police Department as well as Acton's mutual aid partners for their hard work on Monday evening," the department said in a statement.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, according to Acton Fire Department.
