• Millions to honor veterans on Wreaths Across America Day (wwlp.com) — Agawam residents are being invited to join thousands of volunteers at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery this Saturday for Wreaths Across America Day, where more than 10,000 wreaths will be placed on veterans’ graves. Organizers expect about 3,000 local volunteers to help honor fallen service members by laying wreaths and reading each veteran’s name aloud, connecting the national remembrance effort directly to the Agawam community.
