Citizens Who Care & Educator of the Year (CWC-EOY) is Andover's longest running program that honors outstanding community volunteers. Since 1996, the Rotary Club of Andover (Club) has honored more than 275 people. Again, in 2025 the Club will honor those who have contributed to the local community through their extraordinary volunteer contributions. Those chosen exemplify what it means to be an "unsung hero."
Any individual, nonprofit organization, business, or group can nominate their favorite Citizen(s) Who Care. The Educator of the Year is nominated by teachers, school administrators and parents. The Student of the Year is nominated by the community and selected by school faculty.
Nominations for the 2025 Citizens Who Care are being accepted now through January 17th, 2025. To submit a nomination online: https://rotaryandover.org/page/about-citizens-who-care

These local heroes are celebrated at our annual Citizens Who Care & Educator of the Year Gala. Funds raised through ticket sales, sponsorships, and program ads raise funds to support club activities including scholarships, local grants, and international projects. The gala will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2025, starting at 5:30 pm at the Andover Country Club ~ save the date.
