5 Things to Know: Annual Town Meeting 2013

Here are five things you need to know about Andover's Annual Town Meeting 2013. 

1. The Andover Annual Town Meeting will be held on May 6th, 7th & 8th at the Andover High SchoolCollins Field House at Andover High School on Shawsheen Road. The meetings will start at 7:00pm each night.
2. The last day to register to vote for the Annual Town Meeting is Tuesday, April 16th. TheTown Clerk’s Office will be open for new registrations from 8:30 am to 8:00 pm that day.
3. Upon request, sign language interpreters, material on tape, and other auxiliary aides andservices will be provided to ensure effective communications as specified in the American withDisabilities Act. Please contact the Town’s ADA Coordinator (978-623-8530) at the TownOffices by Wednesday, April 15th.
4. A shuttle bus will be available to take voters to and from the parking lots to the field house onthe first two nights of the Town Meeting (May 6th and 7th). Shuttle service will start at 6:15 pm.
5. All Town Meeting attendees must be checked into the meeting in the lobby of Andover HighSchool. Voters must check in at their precinct table. Residents may visit the Town websiteat www.andoverma.gov and search for their precinct under the “E-Services” tab, then click“Precinct Search.” To avoid delays at check in, it is recommended that voters know their precinctbefore arriving at Town Meeting.
