Aggressive Dog and Mystery Bucket

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Friday, July 12


At 10:09 a.m., a caller on Andover Street reported three men cutting a fence in a parking lot. The men turned out to be contractors working on fence repair.

At 6:14 p.m., a caller on Summer Street reported an aggressive black dog in her yard and said she didn't know whose dog it was. Police did not find the dog.

Saturday, July 13


At 8:11 a.m., there was a water main break on Lowell street.

At 12:31 p.m., a caller on Wabanaki Way reported a male party walked into the woods with a bucket and left the bucket there. She was concerned about what may be inside the bucket. Police located the bucket and destroyed the contents, although they did not say what the contents were.

At 4:13 p.m., a caller on Andover Street reported a bat in their home.
