Andover Based Nonprofit Receives $100k Cummings Grant

The Cummings Foundation selected the Andover-based nonprofit Andover Community Trust and Massachusetts College of Law to receive grants.

ANDOVER, MA — The Andover-based Nonprofit Andover Community Trust and the Massachusetts College of Law were selected to receive a $100k grant from the Cummings Foundation.

These organizations were among 140 other grant winners chosen from across the state by the Cummings Foundation. Each organization received $100,000.

Andover Community Trust will use the funds to continue its mission of providing affordable homes and providing outreach to homeowners and community members when affordable homes or apartments become available.

The Massachusetts College of Law of Andover will use the funds to provide affordable legal information to local businesses, workshops, seminars and full semester-length courses integrating law and business.

The Cummings Foundation has awarded more than $375 million to nonprofits based in the greater Boston area. The foundation seeks to provide funding to local charities that are working to improve the lives of community members through education, healthcare, human services and social justice programs.
