Andover Bookstore Welcomes Author C.B. Bernard For Book Launch
Bernard will read from his new novel "Small Animals Caught in Traps," and sign copies of the book. Find out when this event will take place.

ANDOVER, MA — Andover Bookstore has announced that it will be hosting a book launch for author C.B Bernard's debut novel "Small Animals Caught in Traps" this weekend.
At 3 p.m. Saturday, the shop, which is located at 74 Main St., will host the event at which the Rhode Island-based Bernard will be reading from the book and signing copies. The event also will include refreshments.
According to Bernard's website, "Small Animals" is about Lewis, a washed-up boxer making ends meet as a fishing guide in Oregon, and his beloved teenage daughter Gray.

But when tragedy strikes, Lewis can't break free from his past, and Gray must fight to save the family.
Bernard previously has written non-fiction books like "Chasing Alaska: A Portrait Of The Last Frontier Then And Now," which was a Publishers Weekly Top 10 Travel Pick and a finalist for the 2014 Oregon Book Award.

He's also had articles and stories in publications like: Gray's Sporting Journal, Catapult, Bear Deluxe and The Adirondack Review.
When he's not writing, Bernard is a saltwater flyfisherman and occasional boatbuilder, according to his website.
