Andover Garden Club Presents “Decked Out for the Holidays”
Prolific author, lecturer, and tour guide shares the delights of magnificently decorated and illuminated Northeast mansions and gardens.

At the Andover Garden Club December 9 meeting, Jana Milbocker, principal of Enchanted Gardens, will present “Decked Out for the Holidays.” This virtual tour of magnificently decorated mansions and beautifully illuminated gardens in the Northeast includes the world-famous Longwood Gardens, Winterthur, Blithewold, Newport Mansions, and other beautiful landmarks.
Milbocker is a prolific lecturer and author. She combines horticulture, design, and travel tips to educate, inspire and delight both new and seasoned gardeners. She loves to visit gardens and historic sites in the U.S. and abroad and share her trips through her books, lectures, and group garden tours.
Her latest book, Gardens of the Gilded Age: Lavish Landscapes from America’s Golden Era (to be published June 2026) takes readers on a virtual tour of some of the most breathtaking historic gardens in America. From sumptuous formal gardens to artistically designed landscapes, the book will introduce readers to glorious gardens created for the Vanderbilts, Rockefellers, du Ponts, and other captains of industry. This is Milbocker’s fourth book of garden-travel guides.
