Andover High School To Host AHS Showcase This Week

The event will feature projects, presentations and performances by students from Andover Public Schools.

ANDOVER, MA — The seventh annual AHS Showcase will take place Thursday and feature innovative work produced by students from Andover Public Schools.

The event is scheduled for 5 p.m. at Andover High School, located at 80 Shawsheen Rd.

"Members of the public are invited to browse the many projects throughout the evening and interact with students as they share their year-long research projects," organizers of the event said in a statement.

According to organizers, the event will feature projects, presentations and performances by groups such as the 12th grade CAPstone, AHS Robotics, Fine Arts, Show Choir, Jazz Combo, ESIC (Environmental Sustainability Internship Course), SeaPerch (underwater robotics demonstration), Design Studios, Global Pathways and Ink Magazine.

The showcase also will feature CAPstone projects from West Elementary School, and 5th graders will be on hand to present their projects and share insights about their areas of interest.
