Andover To Host 2 Halloween-Themed Events

The town has also released information on official trick-or-treating hours and advice for residents.

ANDOVER, MA — Official trick-or-treating hours in Andover are set for Friday, October 31, 2025, from 5:00–7:00 PM. Whether or not you’re taking part in the festivities, please remember to use extra caution on the roads during these hours.

The Town of Andover is also sponsoring two special Halloween-themed events:

  • Downtown Trick-or-Treat – Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 4:30–5:30 PM
  • Howl-O-Ween – Saturday, October 25, 2025, from noon–4:00 PM in The Park

To help ensure a safe and fun holiday, please keep these tips in mind:

  • Carry a flashlight or glow sticks and add reflective tape to costumes or bags to make children more visible after dark.
  • Walk on sidewalks whenever possible; if none are available, walk facing traffic and stay as far to the side as you can.
  • Cross streets at corners and crosswalks, and never dart out between parked cars.
  • Travel in groups and have younger children accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
  • Choose costumes and masks that don’t obstruct vision and are easy to move around in.
  • Remind children to never enter a stranger’s home or car while trick-or-treating.
  • Motorists should drive slowly and watch carefully for children crossing the street.
