Andover Man Arrested on Assault Charges

The following are excerpts from the Andover Police log. The log is open to the public.

Thursday, April 14

At 7:23 a.m. a two-car accident was reported in front of the building on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.

At 8:02 p.m. a caller reported that someone had broken into a home that was still under construction on Black Horse Lane. An officer filed the incident.

At 11:12 a.m. an officer reported a pothole on Salem Street. The public works department was notified.

At 12:02 p.m. police arrested Airon C.B. Crews, 30, of 62 Haverhill St., Apt. 2, on Haverhill Street. Crews was charged with assault and destruction of property over $250.

At 5:54 p.m. a caller reported a two-car motor vehicle accident on Lowell Street. No injuries were reported.

At 8:09 p.m. a caller reported an argument earlier in the day in which racial slurs were used. An officer spoke with both parties and filed the incident.
