Andover Man With Child In Car Clocked At 107 MPH In NH

BOW, NH — An Andover man was arrested in New Hampshire Saturday after being accused of driving 107 mph with a woman and a child in the car, according to the New Hampshire State Police.
Jonathan Hosmer, 36, was charged with reckless operation and endangering the welfare of a child, according to authorities. He was released on personal recognizance bail and is scheduled to appear in Concord, New Hampshire District Court at a later date, police said.
According to police reports, a trooper with the NHSP D Barracks was driving in the travel lane on Interstate 93 in the town of Bow, when a white sedan approached and passed his vehicle in the high-speed lane.

The officer clocked the passing vehicle at 107 mph and initiated a traffic stop, the NHSP said.
During the traffic stop, the officer noticed that the driver, Hosmer, had an adult female passenger and a male child in the back seat, according to the NHSP.

Hosmer then was placed under arrest, police said.
