Andover Men Arrested in Boston after Bruins Victory

Two Andover men were ordered to keep away from the TD Garden after being arrested Wednesday night.

Two Andover men were arrested last night in Boston for allegedly smashing side mirrors on cars in the North End following the Bruins’ Stanley Cup victory Wednesday night.

Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel Conley said the two men, among a N.H. resident, were using the Stanley Cup victory as an “excuse to engage in disorderly and destructive behavior.”

Police arrested Michael Trwardi, 28, of Andover, and Brandon Zagarella, 18, of Andover were arrested Wednesday night. Justin Jerackas, 22, of Chester, N.H. was also arrested. All three were arraigned in the Central Division of the Boston Municpal Court Department and charged with five counts each of malicious destruction of property.

Around 12:40 p.m. last night, multiple callers reported three men breaking the side mirrors off cars along Endicott Street in the North End. With the help of witnesses, police located the three men and arrested them after positive identification.

Each man was released on his on recognizance with orders to keep away from the North End and the TD Garden.
