The Andover School Committee implemented the APS mask policy EBCFA on August 16, 2021, before the start of the 2021-22 school year. Based on this information from state officials, Dr. Parvey will be joined by APS’s director of nursing and town public health officials at the next School Committee meeting on Thursday, February 17, 2022, to present recent COVID-19 data and to provide a recommendation regarding masks in schools to the Committee. It is anticipated that the Committee will deliberate on the district’s mask policy at the same meeting.
