Andover Runner Hears Blast While Leaving

Andover Marathon runner Caroline Bjune said she had luckily left the race earlier and was on her way out of the city when the bombs went off. Here is her account of what happened. 

 I ended up dropping out at mile 15, so my family and I had already left the finish line area before any of the incidents.

I heard the booms, but didn't know what they were.  We had just crossed the Mass Avenue bridge and were by MIT at the time I heard them.
