ANDOVER, MA — The Town of Andover is seeking applicants to serve on the newly established Public Art Task Force. This group will play a key role in shaping the future of public art and creative placemaking in Andover. The Task Force will advise the Town Manager on the form and placement of public art installations, the artistic use and creative activation of public spaces, and the use of funds or grants that support public art and cultural programming. Members will also help promote community participation in cultural and artistic endeavors and serve as advocates for public art throughout Andover.

The Task Force will include seven members with experience or interest in the arts, design, and cultural development, such as visual artists, architects, planners, educators, or representatives from local arts organizations. The group will be guided by the Director of Business, Arts & Culture and will begin its work in late 2025 or early 2026.
