Andover Style: Fall Fashion Report

Ready for fall? Head downtown to pick up all the latest trends.

Welcome to the first edition of Around Andover. Each Wednesday, we'll fill you in on the latest trends in style, entertaining and all things Andover. We're always looking for submissions so drop me an e-mail if you have news to share or a topic you would like to see covered.

Anyone else notice the change in the air this week? There is a chill in the air in the morning that is sending us running for our furry boots and vests. With talk of snow flakes Thursday and Saturday evening, it's time to get our wardrobes in order.

Downtown Andover, shops are stocking up with the fall essentials. Here are some places to stop in if you’re looking to be warm and stylish and here are some of our favorite things we spotted.

– Minetonka has arrived at the store this past week. These mocassin-esque boots are a celeb favorite. We love the variety of colors they come in and how comfortable they are.

– From North Face fleeces to Ugg boots, this shop has cooler weather clothes for the active family. Our favorite part was the sale rack we spotted recently. The store is offering 50-70% off select Patagonia, The North Face, Marmot, Royal Robbins, Woolrich, Prana, Horny Toad, Lole, to name a few.

- We have our eye on a certain leather vest but until we save up for the splurge, we are obsessed with Alex and Ani bracelets. The Providence, R.I., based company makes bangle bracelets with charms that range from initials to sail boats and dogs – anything a girl could possibly like.  Dresscode received a shipment this week and they now have every initial in stock, as well as assorted other Charity by Design charms. The bracelets are eco-friendly, made in the USA from recycled materials. They're also collectible, and make fabulous gifts for the holidays..Never to early to start shopping.
