Andover Town Meeting Tonight

The Town Clerk wants residents to know that Andover's Annual Town Meeting is tonight.

The Andover Annual Town Meeting will be held tonight at 7 pm. and will tackle a much-anticipated article on banners and a proposed business district off River Road, among roughly 40 others.

If needed, the town will continue the Town Meeting to May 2 and May 3 at the Collins Center for the Performing Arts at Andover High School on Shawsheen Road. The meetings will start at 7:00 pm each night.

A shuttle bus will be available to take voters to and from the parking lots to the field house on the first two nights of the Town Meeting (April 27 and 28). Shuttle service will start at 6:15 pm.

All Town Meeting attendees must be checked into the meeting in the lobby of Andover High School on April 27 and 28 and in the lobby of the Collins Center on May 2 and 3. Voters must check in at their precinct table.  Residents may visit the Town website at www.andoverma.gov and search for their precinct under the “E-Services” tab, then click “Precinct Search.” To avoid delays at check in, it is recommended that voters know their precinct before arriving at Town Meeting.

The Finance Committee Report will be mailed to each household no later than April 16, 2010.
