The temple's inaugural Justice Speakers Series event took place on March 12, and featured professor, author and social justice advocate Jean Trounstine.
"Our first session with professor Jean Trounstine who spoke on 'Beyond Prison Walls — Finding Hope Through Literature & the Arts' was a huge success and we look forward to welcoming Peggy Shukur to Temple Emanuel to share her insight on 'Our Fight Against Antisemitism and Hate' with our greater community," Temple Emanuel Rabbi Max Chaiken said.
