Andover's archery hunting season opened on select Conservation Commission lands on Oct. 17 at the Town's Fish Brook North Reservation, Bald Hill Pole/Hill Reservation, and Fosters Island Reservation near Pomp's pond. This "archery only" season ends on December 31st. Hunting is restricted to Town Certified Hunters, each will have a special photo ID. Hunters will be in elevated tree stands well off of existing trails, and shall pose no threat to hikers or dog walkers. There is No Hunting allowed on Sundays.
